waiting while the world remains productive pt I – III

The rabbit is waiting just like us humans for better times, for the right moment, for the completion of the repair, for overcoming procrastination and for the best time to finally act. The video invites the viewer to wait with him and to feel the impatience that comes from waiting. In the first part of the video series, the rabbit waits in a green space while trains pass behind him and wind turbines continue to turn. In the second part, which was filmed in Bischofswerda and Bautzen, the rabbit moves into the countryside and contrasts with the seemingly lifeless space of swimming pools, churches, gyms and craft businesses. In the third part, filmed by Lucia Hochmuth on an 00’s handcamera, the rabbit takes a long bus ride to a Christmas market in the city.
